100% NYLON Axminster Carpet is generally used in heavy traffic areas, such as lobby, corridors, banquet halls, lift lobby and other areas. Similarly, it can also be used in very humid area such seaside and south Asia countries.
Maintenance & Care
Proper maintenance can extend the life of your Axminster carpet to over 10 years.
1. Regular Vacuuming
Frequency: Vacuum daily in high-traffic areas (such as hallways); 1-2 times per week in low-traffic areas.
2. Spot Cleaning
Principle: Blot, do not rub. Rubbing will enlarge the stain and damage the fibers.
3. Deep Cleaning
Frequency: 1-2 times per year.
Note: 100% nylon Axminster carpets are water-resistant and can be safely washed, but ensure they are completely dry (usually 2-4 hours).
4. Special Notes
Furniture Marks: Although nylon is resilient, heavy furniture can still cause indentations over time. It is recommended to place anti-slip pads (Caster Cups) under the furniture legs.
UV Protection: Although nylon is sun-resistant, prolonged exposure to strong ultraviolet rays may still cause localized fading.
