Axminster Wall to Wall Carpet is one of the highest-end and most complex types of carpets currently available in the commercial and high-end residential markets.
Axminster Wall to Wall carpets have a flat, full pile surface. They have a luxurious style and meet international commercial heavyweight carpet standards. They offer great appearance retention, durability, stability and comfort. They ensure long-lasting performance. You can choose from up to 16 colors. The special weaving technique creates a dense structure. This structure has excellent dimensional stability. So this carpet is very suitable for high-end public spaces, especially for 5 star hotel areas. These spaces usually choose to use Axminster wall-to-wall carpets, and they include hotel guest room carpet, contemporary hotel hallways carpet, corridors carpets, conference rooms carpets, etc.
Core Advantages of Our Axminster Carpet
11 Axminster looms
800,000+ m² annual Axminster capacity
Up to 16-color equipment capability
4 m common roll width
Great stability
Axminster carpets are made of 80% high-quality wool and 20% nylon. Wool is a natural protein fiber. It has inherent properties. These properties include good moisture absorption, good crimp, overlapping scales and easy dyeing. These characteristics make Axminster carpets have stability and performance. Synthetic fiber carpets cannot match this stability and performance.
Great stain resistance
Under stable temperature and humidity conditions, wool fibers keep a constant moisture regain of 15%. The specific conditions are 22°C (72°F) and 65–70% relative humidity. This good physical property gives Argyle carpets good conductivity. It reduces static electricity buildup during use. Wool's moisture absorption properties also stop dust particles from sticking to the carpet. So it has great stain resistance.
Good flame resistance
Wool carpets have a high ignition point. This is because of their moisture absorption properties. Under normal conditions, they resist ignition by open flames. They show natural flame-retardant, hard-to-ignite and self-extinguishing characteristics. These fully meet national fire safety standards. Wool fibers are protein-based. Cigarette butts may leave scorch marks when they touch the carpet. But you can easily remove these marks by gently rubbing the affected area.
Good Abrasion Resistance and Rigidity
Nylon fibers have the best abrasion resistance and good elasticity. Their tightly structured macromolecules provide aging resistance and resilience. Nylon fibers have good dye-binding properties. They can get vibrant colors at room temperature with conventional dyes. They also keep strong colorfastness.
Easy to clean
The outer layer of wool fibers is covered with scales. Combined with wool's high moisture regain rate, the carpet is generally not easy to get stained. Because of these scales, wool carpets are very easy to clean.
Good elasticity
Wool fibers have natural crimp. They can stretch up to 30% without breaking. This gives the carpet great elasticity and resilience. It creates a comfortable underfoot feel.

Axminster carpets blend nylon and wool. They fully show the good elastic recovery of carpets. This blend makes the most of the advantages of both fibers. It also makes up for their respective shortcomings. So high-end woolen machine-woven carpets usually include 20% nylon fiber. This enhances quality, increases abrasion resistance and extends service life.
