High-low Cut Carpet

High-Low Cut Carpets utilize two packaging methods for area rugs: either using an internal waterproof bag with an outer woven bag for additional protection; for wall-to-wall carpets due to their larger sizes and transportation challenges, we combine an inner waterproof bag and outer woven bag with plastic tubes inserted at both ends to provide stability during transit.

Carpets should always be stored in their original shipping packaging as soon as they arrive. If their outer packaging becomes damaged, repairs should be completed promptly before being stored in a clean, well-ventilated, shaded and dry environment. Long-term storage on an uneven surface with stones or other objects present may cause pile direction changes over time and create an uneven surface, so prior to storing a carpet it's crucial to either level it off before storage begins, or clean/level your storage area before you place the rug back there. When high humidity or water exposure occurs it's essential that quickly open packaging, air dry it before placing back into an ideal storage location before relocation to avoid pile direction change over time and an uneven surface emerges resulting in uneven pile direction change resulting from long term storage exposure - in either case open immediately open packaging air dry your carpet for air drying it into dry storage space before moving it back.

Area rugs typically ship via boxes; upon request, we also offer pallet or crate packaging to provide safer transport of these valuable rugs.
