On September 19,2025, the Symposium on Exchange between Rizhao Alumni Association and Alumni Enterprises was held at the Fushan Campus of Qingdao University. Liu Huikun, Deputy General Manager of Dongsheng Carpet Group, and Fan Guiling, Chief Engineer of the Group, attended the meeting together with Guo Jingwen, Secretary-General of Rizhao Alumni Association. They conducted in-depth exchanges with representatives of Qingdao University on topics such as university-enterprise collaborative development and the transformation of scientific research achievements.
During the discussion, on behalf of Dongsheng Carpet Group, Mr. Liu Huikun gave a detailed introduction to the company's current development status and its current needs in technological R&D, product innovation, industrial upgrading and other aspects. He explicitly stated in the exchange that the company's innovation cannot be separated from the support of academic wisdom, and clearly expressed the Group's willingness to carry out industry-university-research cooperation with Qingdao University. He hoped to leverage the university's advantages in scientific research and talents to empower the company's innovative development.
Xu Changhai, Dean of the College of Textile and Garment Engineering of Qingdao University, shared insights focusing on product R&D, brand building, and research team construction. Tian Mingwei, Executive Vice Dean, and Associate Professor Chu Xiaoling, a faculty representative from the College of Textile and Garment Engineering, also further exchanged views and built consensus around product intellectualization, product design, product services and other aspects respectively. All of them stated that the college will actively provide technical support for alumni enterprises, helping to achieve new breakthroughs in university-enterprise cooperation and the transformation of scientific research achievements.
